California Agriculture's Wants and Needs

I recently met with Lex McCorvey, Head of the Sonoma County Farm Bureau, to discuss the wants and needs of our local agriculture. Our agricultural community only comprises 1.5% of Californians, but they're responsible for much of the food in California. Their biggest need is to have someone in Sacramento who will actually listen to and work with them as opposed to just giving lip service, saying yes then doing the same old ineffective stuff anyway. They want politicians who will work with them and try to understand their needs.
