Although it was an overcast and chilly day, I was proud to be a part of the event supporting Shollenberger Park alongside Dr. H. Christian Gunderson. It was quite a sight to see so many people stretching their arms around the entire perimeter of the park, all wearing red. I've heard that approximately 1300 people came out to support this wonderful local treasure.
