On Monday I went to Sacramento to help gain support for the Clean Money Campaign. When you see an ad on TV, wouldn’t you like to know who is actually paying for it? Right now the ads only say, “Paid for by (insert vague patriotic name here).” This campaign seeks to see the actual organizations behind the ads.
There was a rally on the capitol steps supporting the single payer health plan. I would like to see single payer health care in California. I also have a number of health related ideas that would save money for small businesses, families and seniors; both on the health insurance and the medication side. For example, I would like to see California certify Canadian medical websites so that people could save up to 50-80% off their life-saving medications. Plus this would also verify the safety of the medications.
