Local Crime Prevention

I recently met with Thomas Schwedhelm, Santa Rosa's police chief. The thing that amazed me the most from our conversation is the amount of time and effort our local police departments are putting in to crime prevention and community outreach; from gang prevention, teaching kids to read and conflict resolution. Our counties have high quality and caring police and sheriff departments.
