Marin Independent Journal columnist, Dick Spotswood writes:
ODDS & ENDS: A new candidate has emerged for the state Assembly in the new Marin-Central Sonoma 10th District. Dr. Christian Gunderson, 53, a Petaluma chiropractor and family counselor, says "I'm a registered Democrat but consider myself an independent." He's critical of Assembly Majority Leader Michael Allen who pondered running in other districts before moving to San Rafael to compete in the newly configured 10th Assembly District. Gunderson jibed that "Marin shouldn't be someone's second or third choice." The election is in June.
